Fatima Fete delivers supreme festivity

Touted by its promoters (the Fatima College Past Students Association) as the “Fete of Year”, the Blink Vigilance sponsored Fatima College all inclusive fete clearly maintained its reputation as one of the most well attended affairs of the entire Carnival season.
The premium service of this fete included make-up stations for female fetters, the provision of umbrellas in the event rain, the availability of flat shoes for ladies who desired a break from their high heels, top notch bar service and a several food options such as Creole delicacies, samosas, fajitas, pot hot doubles, gyros, calamari and baby back ribs.
Event sponsor Blink Vigilance not only added its unique security element to the soiree but added more luxury to the event by erecting an attractive, comfortable lounge which patrons eagerly utilized for relaxation from the frenzied fete atmosphere and to catch up with old friends over a beverage. This lounge also offered the enthusiastic attendees Blink’s exclusive, security themed photo opportunities.
Fatima provided the very best in entertainment which included The Roy Cape All-stars, Dil-E-Nadan, K Rich, Shal Marshal, Kerwin Dubois and the hilarious MC for the night Nikki Crosby.
Most notably the fete showcased the musical talents of 2 of the school’s pupils; one a master pannist and the other a talented violinist. Both performers thrilled the audience with an impromptu Soca sound clash using their respective instruments.
Local celebs including His Excellency Professor George Maxwell Richards and his wife Dr. Jean Ramjohn-Richards, former Miss Universe Wendy Fitzwilliam and cricket legend Dr. Brian Lara were seen enjoying the Fatima festivity.
One passionate patron shared that she has been attending this fete for 7 years and will continue to come back because of its chic ambience and the value she receives for the money she spends.
All proceeds from this annual Fatima all-inclusive are re-invested into the school’s education, sport and developmental programmes and have previously funded the repairs to the college’s hall floor and library.
The staff at Blink Vigilance was pleased to have powered this event and supported its worthy cause.
