bmobile rewards 4G LTE customers with over $200,000 in prizes
Port-of-Spain, Trinidad – January 24, 2019
Having simply upgraded to bmobile’s exclusive 4G LTE network, two lucky customers brightened their start to the New Year, by winning a whopping $50,000 cash each.
The fortunate pair was among a list of 10 other mega-winners who anxiously turned up at TSTT House on Edward Street, Port-of-Spain, recently for the culmination and prize-giving of bmobile’s ‘12 Gifts of Joy’ Christmas Promotion.
Prior to the start of the short programme however, a quiet still of anxiety permeated the lobby area as recipients arrived, unaware of their earnings and unsure of which competition they had even signed up for. The plot thickened when host, Ancil ‘Blaze’ Isaac, announced the first name, Akeem Allan Cayenne, as a $50,000 winner.
Following this welcomed revelation, ‘Blaze’ then called on David Smith (PlayStation 4), Sabrina Ramkissoon (1 year free top-up), Hasina Joseph-Banfield (65” Samsung Smart TV), Jonathan Ramsaroop (1 year free gas), Arundel Lalman (1 year free groceries @ $1800 per month), Premraj Seebransingh (iPhone X), Marlon Weekes (HYATT Spa voucher worth $1800), Nicole Branche (Caribbean family vacation worth $20,000), Stephanie Grant Taylor (1 year bill-free from bmobile), Tara Siewnath (1 year free gym membership with a personal trainer) and Michael De Freitas ($50,000) to claim their respective prizes.
“I’ve never won anything in my life,” said Cayenne. “I’m still in a lot of shock, it’s unexplainable. I intend to complete an advanced course in Process Plant Operations with the money I’ve won. I also plan to assist my mom and dad in whatever way. I’m so grateful to bmobile for this opportunity, I’m so surprised.”
On-hand to assist with the presentations was Kashif Greaves, TSTT’s Senior Manager, Product Life Cycle. Greaves was happy to see the unexpected joy brought to the loyal customers who either upgraded to 4G LTE, purchased a 30-Day unlimited Prepaid plan or upgraded to a postpaid Unlimited plan.
“It’s always refreshing to see people’s reactions when they’ve won something. We’re grateful to extend our Christmas cheer into mid-January and give back to our customers. Keeping a close relationship with people in communities within T&T is one of our main objectives. We will continue to develop means of strengthening ties with our longstanding, current and future customer-base,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Branche credited bmobile for providing her with an opportunity to visit her sister, who she hasn’t seen in over 18 years. The young lady, after hearing her name call for the $20,000 trip to any Caribbean destination, screamed in elation.
“bmobile is going to reconnect my sister and I after almost two decades,” she said. “This is not the first time that I’m winning something from bmobile because I’m a long-time user of the service and I’ve always supported them as number one in Trinidad and Tobago. Winning this prize is a great blessing to me. Life really is on.”
